Saving You FBX Files

Steps to Save an FBX File

  1. Write the FBX file name on the text input field.

  2. (Optional) Check “Apply The New FBX File to This Object”: This option will automatically apply the new FBX file to the object. Good for memory optimization (Recommended)

  3. Click the "Save Mesh" button

  4. Select the location and double check the mesh name you want to save. Note: The location should be inside the project Assets folder.

  5. Click the "Save " button to start the saving process. If any errors occur, the system will log the issue and prompt you to fix it.

Auto-Name button: Automatically generates a new name based on the game object's name and its associated color names. This makes it easier to locate the file later on.
