# Opening The Tool & Asset Selection
#### 🔹 Right-Click Method (Most Common)
The easiest and most common way is:
1. Right-click any folder or file in the Project window
2. Go to **Better Delete**
3. Click **Delete**
This will automatically open the Better Delete window with the selected asset.

#### 🔹 Top Menu Method
You can also open the tool from the top menu:
**Window → Better Delete → Open Tool**

### 🎯 Selecting Assets
To select an asset, simply click on it in the Project window.
The Better Delete window will automatically update and display information about the selected asset.

### 🔒 Locking the Window
If you do not want the window to update automatically:
1. Click the **lock icon** in the top-right corner of the Better Delete window.
Once locked, selecting other assets in the Project window will not change the current selection inside Better Delete.
This is useful when you want to inspect one asset without interruption.
